The quality

of a Saturday is measured a) by the weather and b) by the Saturday cartoons at PowerLine.  By either measure this Saturday is well below average.

It’s hard to take an objective stand on the mess in Minneapolis.  The video on the knee on the neck is of course horrifying.  Then we have a Baltimore redux where the city burns and the stores looted while the Mayor and the police stand by.  That the stores burned were by-in-large black owned also reflects Baltimore. The Great Gathering of News Interpreters casting gasoline on the fires is typical and will reflect poorly as history considers this all.  But nothing will be learned.

This Interpreter is saying “Protest not unruly”… In his defense, his eyes do seem to be closed.

This little tidbit from PowerLine is unverified but intriguing:

The Hennepin County Medical Examiner (ME) conducted Mr. Floyd’s autopsy on May 26, 2020. The full report of the ME is pending but the ME has made the following preliminary findings. The autopsy revealed no physical findings that support a diagnosis of traumatic asphyxia or strangulation. Mr. Floyd had underlying health conditions including coronary artery disease and hypertensive heart disease. The combined effects of Mr. Floyd being restrained by the police, his underlying health conditions and any potential intoxicants in his system likely contributed to his death.

So will the officer arrested in this case be able to get a fair trial…?The victims family said “ We want and expect a first degree murder charge”.  He has already been tried in the public eye… so what will happen if the evidence doesn’t support the already administered verdict of Hang the Guilty Bastard…? More “protests”…?

Overshadowed by the above is the fact that the transcription of the Flynn telephone calls shows he did absolutely nothing illegal or unethical.  The worst you can say is he derided the hussein administration.  No doubt in my mind that very fact is why hussein went after him.

Depression is lingering… Maybe a nice dog picture:
