The rains have departed, briefly perhaps but the squish is gone from the yard. I am thankful not to be living in New Orleans where the convergence of two storms perhaps marks God’s dissatisfaction. What with Covid, terrifyingly destructive storms, 40 days of rain and the democrat party, one could make a convincing argument that God is unhappy.
I didn’t watch the republicans past night. It doesn’t start until 10 and I have an agreement with my body that I will attempt to rest it by that hour each day. Apparently one of the many Ladies I salute regularly, Nikki Haley, gave a great speech. The measure of that is the condemnation of the liberals… That brings this portrayal to mind:
